Summary: While this post can stand alone, it is highly recommended that you read the previous post before proceeding to this one. Peace. - Royal Star Allah
“You’re nothing but an ex-slave,” Malcolm projected. His eyes scanned the room and pierced everyone he saw. “You don’t like to be told that. But what else are you? You are ex-slaves. You didn’t come here on the ‘Mayflower.’ You came here on a slave ship.” - Minister Malcolm X, Message to the Grassroots, pg. 4
I. MENTAL ACTIVITY
Let us pause here and digest the mental jewel (or complete idea) presented from viewing THEM as an Original Man who ATTAINED a particular level of self-maturity in his application of the Supreme Wisdom. In 1946, he was among a VERY elite company of people; which he "officially" joined 29 years later after “dying” in America of natural causes. Only a handful of other Original Men can claim such honor - not at the level that “Mr. Muhammad” did it.
Think: Frederick Douglass
(*SALIH CHALLENGE: Can you make a list of 10 Original Men and Women who meet this qualification.)
Many OTHER Original Men and Women who spoke Truth to Power were destroyed where they stood.
Think: Nat Turner
(*SALIH’s SECOND CHALLENGE: Can you draw any parallels between the Laws of Segregation and current laws in regard to the imprisonment of Original Men and Women?)
The “magnetic appeal” of “Mr. Muhammad’s” personality was the desire within other Original Men to achieve his state of mental freedom from their FEAR. Again, in the Age of Obama - who we see daily interacting with the Leaders of the World - it is difficult to communicate how monumental an achievement this was.
The Honorable Elijah Muhammad was inspirational – on the emotional and spiritual level. And, in being INSPIRATIONAL, language (Babel) becomes a barrier in communicating the nature and depth of the MENTAL STATE the Supreme Wisdom created within The Honorable Elijah Muhammad. To understand it, you had to be in his presence.
To explain it, many waxed poetic and used Biblical language. THEM was like the Jesus of Old, who walked up and down the shores of Galilee spreading FAITH among the People. What is Faith? It is a particular mind-set, or mental state. It allows for the GENIUS of Intelligence which lies within - the Kingdom of God is WITHIN YOU! - to spring forth.
To use THEM language, “The so-called Negro must be completely re-educated.”
We do not know the exact moment when The Honorable Elijah Muhammad tapped into his OWN SELF. We can speculate, like very good historians. However, the exact process is not known. From what we do know, we can figure out the general structure. For you see, The Honorable Elijah Muhammad taught what he knew to Malcolm Little, whom he raised up into Minister Malcolm X. And, he taught Louis Walcott, whom he raised up into Minister Louis Farrakhan.
By OWN SELF, I mean the TRUE INDIVIDUAL. Here is the general process.
There is only one way to make a diamond. You take “flesh,” or carbon-based life forms, and put them under pressure. On the Earth this pressure is created deep underground, from the weight of the Earth upon the decaying matter. As the decaying matter changes form, some of it receives enough pressure to become a diamond, which is valued for its rarity, strength and beauty.
THEM was given the Supreme Wisdom. This means he had a teacher; someone who guided him through his development. This is still highly recommended.
First, you must digest the Supreme Wisdom, by reciting it to yourself. Hear it in your ears. Listen to the sound of your own voice teaching you who and what you truly are. If you do this homework, soon, the Supreme Wisdom will be apart of your vocabulary. You will speak it into existence, as scripture says.
Because of how he treated Minister Malcolm and Minister Farrakhan, we know that The Honorable Elijah Muhammad and his Teacher spoke the language of the Supreme Wisdom to each other. THEM’s mind was saturated with it.
Using the Supreme Wisdom as a way to categorize information and perceive Reality, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad became aware of how he caused things to come into existence around him. In fact, he had the epiphany that he was CAUSE and everything else was EFFECT.
Such mastery has boundaries. With such self-awareness; that everything is REACTING to you, the conditions you find in your life are the result of your belief system. How you truly BELIEVE something to be – whether you speak words contrary to it or not – is manifested in the experiences of your life. We call the environment in which you have your experience: CONDITIONS.
The Supreme Wisdom permitted THEM’s mind to properly view the condition he discovered himself and Original People to be in. North America was not friendly. And home was 9000 miles away. If a change was going to take place, it had to take place HERE.
So, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad went to work, organizing Original People and assisting them in taking back control of themselves, ushering them into what he called, “The Knowledge of SELF!”
As a result of his work, the condition of prison was given to THEM. In his mind, he saw it as a test. (I would not use that word today.) He met the challenge, by becoming one with it. At some point, THEM acclimated to the rules and regulations of prison. He had a routine and everything. However, because of the Supreme Wisdom, he discovered that you cannot run a prison without the consent of the prisoners. (Let that sink in.) At this point, THEM decided to maintain his discipline. He only ate the prescribed diet and continued his practice of Islam.
Opposition to his discipline came. THEM met the opposition and maintained discipline. The discipline became painful (pressure!) at times. In fact, he almost broke his health trying to maintain discipline. In doing so, THEM’s mind became a conduit into the HIGHER INTELLIGENCE.
He saw into SELF and realized who and what he truly is: “The Owner. The Maker. The Cream of the Planet Earth.” The Supreme Wisdom crystallized within his mind and he achieved self-mastery. He was no longer afraid. He had SURVIVED the manifestations of his greatest fears. There was nothing anyone could DO to him anymore.
You cannot run the prison without the consent of the prisoners.
Of course, THEM’s connection to imprisoned brothers was deep. He had directly shared in their fears, hopes and dreams. He could not leave them behind, so he wrote to them regularly. The EFFECT was tremendous.
This blog is apart of that EFFECT, which continues to this day.
