The Evolutionary Process pt1

In the name of Allah, the beneficent, the merciful,
If we travel on the wheel of time, almighty Allah always raises up prophets and messengers. Why? It is because man has strayed away from the right path-his natural path. By nature, man and woman is designed to be in complete submission to the will of Allah. However, throughout time, man has been falling short of this glorious task. Complete submission to the will of Allah is synonymous with perfection. Since Allah's will is perfect, submission to it, makes one perfect. Whomever we submit to, we begin to take not their coloring- their perceptions, thoughts, ideas, and often even their motives. Therefore the quran says

"We take Allah's color, and who is better than Allah at coloring, and we are His worshippers."

However, the question remains HOW or WHERE does the desire for man to do contrary to Allah's will come from?

It comes from imperfection. When The Originator created Himself, there was imperfection within Himself. How do we know? Because His creation is not perfect. Study the Earth, the Sun, the moon, the stars, or even ourselves. None of these celestial bodies, called planets, are perfectly circular-and as we know a circle represents 360 degrees. To go further, try to draw a perfect circle freehanded. You can't! This is just a small glimpse into the larger picture. Imperfection and perfection, polar opposites which dwell succinctly inside us all.

Well the, how do we attain this perfection? Or how do we thwart the relative power of imperfection?

*I interrupt here to note that although imperfection was there in the beginning, imperfection can be and has been overcome by the eternal Allah through a PROCESS of constant evolution.*

In Surah 70 of the Holy Quran, Allah is called, "the Lord of the Ways of Ascent." Allah overcame imperfection and attained to perfection( see study guide 11). Therefore, He is the only one able to guide us to this glorious stage. He is the Master, Controller, Grower, and Evolver of us as we ascend toward perfection. Lord of the Ways of Ascent. What are these ways or methods by which we can ascend? Prayer, Fasting, Charity, Pilgrimage, and Jihad, all of which contain a vital element of Struggle. Allah MASTERED ALL of these principles of action as He called Himself into existence. In so doing, he expedites the process so that we may more quickly become like Him. In all of this, there is a great measure of suffering.

Well then, how does Allah raise His vicegerent, Man, up into this exalted state?

"ALLAH (GOD) SHARES HIMSELF WITH HUMAN BEINGS. HOWEVER, WHEN GOD SHARES HIMSELF WITH US, HE GIVES US A DIFFICULTY TO OVERCOME. WE HAVE TO STRUGGLE WITH THE LIFE FORCE THAT IS WITHIN US, WHICH IS THE ONLY FORCE THERE IS, THERE IS NO OTHER FORCE BUT GOD. THERE IS BUT ONE LIFE THAT IS GIVEN TO US AND THAT IS DIVINE LIFE.
HOLY QUR'AN READING: 'AND WHEN THY LORD SAID TO THE ANGELS, I AM GOING TO PLACE A RULER IN THE EARTH, THEY SAID, WILT THOU PLACE IN IT SUCH AS MAKE MISCHIEF IN IT AND SHED BLOOD? AND WE CELEBRATE THY PRAISE AND EXTOL THY HOLINESS. HE SAID: SURELY I KNOW WHAT YOU KNOW NOT."- Study Guide 10, the God within

In the same study guide, we learn that the Earth is comparable to Man. The waters like mans blood. The rocks like mans bones. The trees like mans skin. But Allah declares He is going to place a ruler in the Earth. He is going to place a ruler in the minds of a group of men who would in turn rule the Earth. But, the angels ask what would he do of positive. Allah simply knows what they don't. Allah is placing a man, who would sculpt a people.

The book of genesis opens, god created the heavens and the earth, and the earth was without form and void. Anytime, a people lack form and are void someone must come to sculpt or shape that people. Allah placed a ruler in the Earth to do just this, even though the ruler did not know it. He uses this brutal ruler to give the people the right structure, form, or foundational spirit that they can withstand a greater weight at a latter time.

The angels that questioned Allah thought, even if just for a second, that Allah may have been making a mistake. Allah took one from the line of angels or scientist ,by the name of Shabazz, and had him to take us and prepare us to visit the pit of hell. For we would later rise to the heights of heaven. In study guide 10 the minister writes, "It is only through our lowest state that he may lift us up." Even when we think we know something, Allah will show us our ignorance and use us to fulfill His ETERNAL plan by revealing eternal truths through contemporary messengers that become catalyst for everlasting change.

Dr. King once said something very very profound: "Undeserved suffering is redemptive."

More coming soon.

love it Salih... good spiritual food!
Although Jesus was chosen of Allah, this did not prevent Him from being maligned, evil spoken of, falsely accused, persecuted, brought before the Roman courts and finally sentenced and put to death. At a certain point when one of the disciples expressed to Jesus his strong desire to see His Father, He said, “Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? He hath seen me hath seen the Father: and how sayest thou then, shew us the Father? Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me...” John Chapter 14, verses 9-10.
This is a marvelous statement made by Jesus, but, this statement of what Jesus suffered teaches us the hardship of the journey to become one with Allah (God). There is similar hardship entailed in the journey of struggle of two human beings through the institution of marriage to become as one. Struggle is essential to every process of evolution for the man and female.
